Methodology · version 1
How the rankings are scored
Each firm starts at zero and earns points only from facts we can source. The criteria and weights are public, versioned and recomputed every quarter.
Who is scored
Firms that serve foreign investors in Georgia and that we can verify on at least three criteria. Absence from a ranking means we have not seen the documents, not that a firm failed.
Criteria and weights
- Track record, 35. What the firm has actually done for foreign clients: registrations, licences, completed projects, accounts opened, drawn from public registers and documents clients show us.
- Responsiveness and punctuality, 25. Measured by dated test enquiries and, for developers, handover dates against contracts.
- Client protection, 25. Engagement letters, fee transparency, escrow or guarantees, complaint handling.
- Transparency, 15. Published prices, named partners, audited accounts where relevant, willingness to put facts on the record.
Sources
Public registers first (Public Registry, Revenue Service status lists, court records), then documents clients have shown us, then dated interviews and our own test enquiries. Every fact behind a score is listed on the firm's page with its source.
Paid placements
A firm can pay to be labelled Featured. The label is visible. The position and the score are computed by the same method as every unpaid firm and are not for sale.
Corrections and challenges
A firm can challenge any fact by email with the document. We reply within five working days and publish every correction with its date on the firm's page. Scores are recomputed each quarter and the previous score is shown.
