Sources
The primary sources we quote, and how we treat each. Official first, named market sources second, our own observation last and labelled.
Official
- Geostat, the National Statistics Office: FDI, CPI, tourism, trade, property price indices.
- National Bank of Georgia: policy rate, FX reference rates, monetary policy reports, banking statistics.
- Revenue Service: tax regimes, status registers, guidance.
- Legislative Herald of Georgia (matsne.gov.ge): the Tax Code and every law we cite, in the current text.
- National Agency of Public Registry: company and property registers.
- Georgian National Tourism Administration: arrivals and tourism revenue.
- GNERC and ESCO: energy licensing, tariffs, market data.
- Public Service Development Agency: residence permits and thresholds.
Market sources, named on use
Colliers Georgia / RECOV, TBC Capital, Galt & Taggart, Bank of Georgia research and other named publishers. We state the basis of each figure, because these sources often measure different baskets.
Our own observation
Test enquiries, site visits, documents clients have shown us and dated interviews. Always labelled as ours, always dated, never presented as a statistic.
