Editorial standards
Every figure carries its source and date. Every rule is quoted from the text. Every correction is published with a date. Paid and editorial never mix.
Figures
A number appears on this site only with its source and its date. Where two published figures for the same thing differ, we name the basis of each. Where we derive a number, we show the arithmetic.
Rules
Tax and regulatory pages quote the Tax Code, the law or the decree, with the article number. Where practice differs from the text, we say so, say when we observed it, and keep the text as the primary claim.
Dates
Every page shows its last review date and the planned next one. Figures older than ninety days are refreshed or flagged.
Rankings
Scores come only from facts we can source. The method is public, versioned and recomputed quarterly. Paid placements are labelled and never change a score. A firm can challenge any fact; the correction is published with a date.
Corrections
Found an error? Send the document. We reply within five working days and publish the correction on the page it concerns, with the date and what changed.
Independence
Partners pay for introductions and placements; clients pay for counsel. Neither buys a word of editorial. How we earn is described in full on its own page.
