What does private counsel cover?
The decisions around an investment in Georgia: which structure and tax regime, which licences and in what order, who to trust and who to avoid, how to read a contract or a valuation, and how to negotiate with a Georgian counterparty. We sit on your side of the table, in person in Tbilisi or on a call.
How is it priced?
Three formats, each a fixed fee stated in writing before we start: a memo for one decision, an engagement through one transaction, or a monthly retainer for an ongoing programme. There are no hourly surprises. If scope changes, we re-quote before continuing.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. We are not a law firm or a licensed tax adviser. We work alongside your lawyer and accountant, or introduce ones we have checked, and we say plainly where a question needs a licensed opinion.
How is it independent?
While we act for you on a matter, we take no fee from any partner on that matter. Our introductions business and our counsel business never touch the same transaction from both sides.
How quickly can we start?
You get a reply within one working day with a proposed scope and fee. Most memos are delivered within five working days of agreeing the scope.
