What size of project is realistic for private capital?
Small and medium hydro, wind farms in the tens of megawatts, and utility-scale solar in the east. Tickets run from a few million dollars for a small hydro to tens of millions for wind.
Is there a feed-in tariff?
Not a standing one. Purchase arrangements have been offered to new plants for part of the year on terms that change; verify the current scheme with ESCO and GNERC for your project.
Can I export the power?
Yes, to Türkiye today, subject to capacity on the line and market prices; to the EU once the Black Sea cable is built.
How are energy profits taxed?
Standard regime: no corporate tax until distribution, 15% on distribution, 5% dividend withholding before treaty relief.
